FAQ
Q. Where is my data stored?
A. Everything stays on your device. Nothing is sent to the developer's servers. See the privacy policy (Japanese) for details.
Q. I'm getting a new phone. How do I move my data?
A. In Settings, tap "Export backup" and save the file (iCloud Drive recommended). On the new phone, open Settings and tap "Restore from backup".
Q. How do I add the widget?
A. Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen, tap Edit (or the + button), search for "AlignerLog" and choose the small or medium widget. Tapping the dial switches between IN and OUT without opening the app.
Q. The widget says to open the app
A. Open the app once and the widget will show your data. If it still doesn't update, remove the widget and add it again.
Q. I'm not getting notifications
A. Check that notifications are allowed in the iOS Settings app → Notifications → AlignerLog.
Q. My treatment is done. Can I use it with a retainer?
A. Yes. Switch the mode to "Retainer" in Settings to track retainer wear with its own daily goal.
Q. I forgot to tap IN or OUT
A. Tap "Fix log" on the Home screen and pick the time you actually took them out (or put them back in). Your record stays accurate.
Q. Can I see when I wore my aligners during the day?
A. Yes. Switch to "TIMELINE" on the Home or History screen to see your wear times on a 24-hour dial.
